Overview
Crowdigital is a web design studio based in Brisbane, Australia. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us. When you use our contact form or email us, that may include:
- your name and email address
- details about your business and project, such as timeline, budget and the services you need
- anything else you include in your message
Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running, not to identify you.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver and support projects you engage us for, and keep business records we are required to keep. We will never sell your information or add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services we need to run this website and our projects:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a real person.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Fonts serves some of the typefaces used on the site.
- BunnyDoc is used to send and e-sign project proposals and contracts once you engage us.
- Stripe processes card payments for our invoices. We never see or store your full card details.
These providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with strong security practices, and we would only otherwise disclose your information if the law requires it.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site and the contact form from spam and abuse.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it once we no longer need it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just get in touch using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
